You couldn't miss the tight security everywhere. They were patrolling the walkways to our paddleboat, escorted us on board, and the two heavily armed gentlemen in the first picture traveled in our boat with us.
Until we left dock small gunboats swept past us repeatedly. After we left I noticed one following us with assault weapons mounted front and back. There were several of these well armed boats positioned under each bridge as well.
