Living on Food Stamps

The New York Times had a story up yesterday about the number of Americans living on nothing but food stamps.

In their state-by-state analysis, they show that Washington saw a 56 percent increase between June 2007 and June 2009 on those who subsist on food stamps without other income. See the chart here.
