Today marks the first day of the 2010 CPAC – Conservative Political Action Conference, the largest national gathering of conservatives in the U.S.

Nearly 12,000 people are attending this year’s event, which runs through Saturday, at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C.
